The Volkswagen Touareg, how does it fare against what it’s designed for?

We sell all types of 4x4, Land Rover, BMW, Mercedes and also Volkswagen. One of our previous customers got in touch with us, having bought a Volkswagen Touareg from us a year back. He decided to use it exactly as it’s intended, long distance, enough luggage for 4 and a whole load of ski gear. "The Touareg did everything we asked of it, no need for snow chains"

“We’re beyond impressed with the capabilities of the Touareg, a lot of the time it’s being used around town and running the usual trips for the family, a few weeks ago we took it to Chamonix Mont Blanc on a 1,300 mile round trip, surprisingly for this type of car it achieved over 30MPG. It’s practical too, the load through came down with no issues, giving us more than enough room for 4 sets of skis and poles.”

"Heated Seats and Heated Steering Wheel were such lovely options to have, we even had the Panoramic Roof open one afternoon when it was very sunny. We knew when we bought the car that we would be spending a lot of time in it, so we chose a decent spec, something Saxton 4x4 could definitely help us out with. The cockpit’s comfortable, the experience of driving it abroad was great fun, we felt safe and it managed to keep the kids quiet!

For anyone looking for an SUV that does everything, I would urge them to give the Touareg a go. If you’re on a budget then it certainly saves a few pennies compared to a lot of its competitors, but doesn’t compromise elsewhere.
