The Los Angeles Motor Show will see the official unveiling of the open-top Range Rover Evoque Convertible in less than a month.
To whet the appetite of fans in the UK Land Rover has manufactured five full-scale wire sculptures placed strategically across London.
The computer-generated models are made from aluminium and were designed to show off the all-new model in its “natural environment” of the capital.
Being promoted as the “world’s first luxury compact SUV convertible”, the incarnation had been mooted since 2012 but was finally confirmed earlier this year.
Sitting alongside the range’s current three and five-door variations, the Evoque Convertible will also be produced at the marque’s Halewood plant.
A previous stunt to garner interest in the new model saw a prototype driven through newly completed Crossrail tunnels.
